Simply put, Kim’s childhood was spent drawing stories rather than writing them. While this wasn’t exactly appreciated by her teachers, it was a clear foundation for her future as a Graphic Designer.

Tasmanian-born Kim further fueled her interest in creative design by completing a Diploma of Graphic Design at Tafe. From that she proceeded to work at a high profile agency in Hobart, before making the move to the Gold Coast and finding her feet within Copirite.

Kim’s love of graphic designing, in particular creating music posters, has seen her awarded with the Gold PICA Award in 2007 and has had artwork twice featured in OzGraphix.

When not madly involved in her work, she can be found playing bass in her band or watching The Discovery Channel. Sometimes, she says, she will brave the weekend daylight and go to the beach…or forage for food.

Living by the quote of ‘Sometimes the people who say that you can’t do something are usually the ones who are afraid you will!’ has helped Kim overcome her fear of claymation cartoons…..

….Just kidding, she is still terrified of them, but we love her motivated spirit!
